Unveiled in Thailand last December, the Yamaha M-Slaz MT-15 has been making waves on the Internet. On our recent trip to Thailand, we managed to take a look at the M-Slaz MT-15, and it is little wonder that this bike has created such a buzz before it is even out on the Singapore market.
Visually, two things about the bike stand out. First is the gold upside down front fork, which gives the M-Slaz MT-15 its sleek, sharp look. Second is that sharp and pointy design including the bold tank extensions that is similar to the current KTM Duke tanks.
The mean-looking M-Slaz MT-15 is powered by the same engine that powers the much loved Yamaha YZF-R15. Both bikes also share the same platform; in essence the M-Slaz MT-15 is the street-naked version of the R15.
Accessories brand Bikers has also created a line of accessories for the M-Slaz MT-15, making customisation options endless.
Available in a range of attractive colours, this naked street fighter should make for an interesting addition to the entry level performance bike category in Singapore once approved for use on Singapore roads.
