The long wait is over and we are finally down to the schedule of testing the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 1100. It was a mixed emotion of being extremely happy and surprised most of the time especially when the bike leans on the curves of the racetrack. So allow us to share our little experience with the championship winning sportsbike… Firing off the engine is so effortless thanks to its electric starter. We cannot contained the massive powerband and torque generosity of the 1077cc liquid-cooled engine but able to efficiently controlled it. The ride-by-wire throttle is smooth yet growls when a strong acceleration is needed. Running over 9,000rpm, the Tuono V4 Factory 1100 surprisingly feels like a supersportsbike yet provided maximum rider control thanks to its balanced chassis, traction control, ABS system, and other technical components that made it exactly a high performing machine. Seating position and handling characteristic is sporty of course. Steering is light and the quickshifter let us change gears seamlessly without putting much effort. The radial tubeless type tires delivered good grip and contributed to the overall stability of the sportsbike in corners. The seat is soft and side fairings cuts down wind blast thus ensuring a comfortable long ride either on the street, highway or track. Its cutting edge design is unique and aggressive with cool racing stickers, muscular tank, high handlebars, mean face and the sporty lines on its body.
