Honda Fury Review

Taking out the Fury for a Cruise€¦

We were immediately attracted upon seeing how Honda Fury looks, it is different from other cruising motorcycles out there that looks beefy. We want to experience what this Fury got something for us so we give it a ride on a bright sunny day in the town. Swinging a leg over the cruiser, we quickly noticed its very low seat and the easy reach wide handlebars. It is not difficult to start up even it was not ridden for long days thanks to its fuel-injected engine. The big v-twin powerplant produce minimal vibration but the counterbalancers alleviate them from being too unpleasant. The Fury is the motorcycle with longest wheelbase ever developed by Honda. Partnering this with thin front tire and it does not feel a little rough at low speed but it size can make it hard on entering a parking lot. Also the raked out front end does not make steering easy at low speed. After riding the cruiser for an hour or so we instantly get used to its behaviors. It does not sag on corners like what we expected on a chopper style cruiser and found it easy to ride. There is no ample ground clearance with its long-slung frame but we still managed to push it harder by dragging the footpegs. Riding at the cruising speed of 60 mph, the Fury has neutral handling, incredibly balanced and delivers a smooth ride. The tires did a good job and suspension performance needs a bit tuning nevertheless its still the cruiser that can take riders to the city, around the boulevard and coffee shops. Above all, a bike that serves its value. The Honda Fury is no doubt a machine that has the chopper looks along with great cruising ability.
