Honda Sabre Review

Swinging a leg over the 26.9 inches seat height and hitting the starter, the 1312cc liquid-cooled v-twin engine instantly comes to life releasing a throaty noise to its dual exhausts. Riding around town, pulling the clutch lever and kicking into a gear, the clutch is surprisingly feels light and user-friendly. The 5-speed transmission delivers smooth shifting across gear ratio. Squeezing out the throttle, the v-twin engine produces low-end and powerful mid-range allowing the cruiser to move up to 45mph. Motorcycles in the same category and displacement class are signing off when ridden at the same range. Shifting to fifth gear the Sabre can get up to 90mph though the bike is nearly approaching the rev limiter then. Of course after reaching the limit, the bike has nothing more to give but its not crucial since cruisers are not about high speed but comfort and ride quality. Though it contains broad powerband, the cruiser still lacks on top-end power. Nevertheless it is capable on bringing out the best from the v-twin powerplant. It has the power that could take anyones cruising experience to the next level. Aside from power, Honda Sabre also offer sophisticated style inspired by Fury from its stretched fuel tank and rake-out forks to the lower frame and sculpted seat. No wonder why this motorcycle is an awesome head turner on the street. Ergonomics is utmost comfortable with easy reach foot controls, footpegs on the right position, slimmer seat and handlebars holding the fuel tank resulting to forward lean riding position. Honda Sabre allows rider to show their unique personality by dressing up this customizable cruiser with available accessories. Chrome engine guards, backrest, windscreen, custom grips, passenger floorboards, leather tank belt and digital audio system to name a few.
