Suzuki SV650 Review

Engine

Its 645cc liquid-cooled v-twin is the smoothest engine we had ever ridden. With a claimed 75hp @ 9,000rpm maximum power and 47lb-ft @ 8,100rpm maximum torque, experienced riders can surely appreciate the new tuned SV650. However we should not forget that it is also easy to ride and ideal for novice riders who want to explore twisted highway and canyon roads.

Ride Quality

The Suzuki SV650 is responsive, ultimately lightweight and its minimalist design captivates novice riders. The upright seating position is comfortable enough for dynamic rides with footpegs set high and low seat height. Both foot can also be planted to the ground during idle and stops. Handling is nimble, cornering is easy and the brakes did a very good job in keeping us safe throughout the ride. From idle, we simply released the clutch lever and the bike move forward without needing to twist the throttle until we accelerate to higher speed range. We also had a chance to test the Low RPM Assist on several stop and go traffic, we are all very much impressed on how amazing it works.
